Pasta Fazool Recipe
A hearty Italian soup with pasta and beans.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can cannellini beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 1 cup ditalini pasta
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- to taste salt and pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and cannellini beans. Bring to a boil.
Add the ditalini pasta, oregano, and basil. Reduce heat and simmer until the pasta is tender, about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
