Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon cold water

Filling

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3. Add egg yolk and cold water. Mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan.
  4. 4. Bake crust for 15 minutes. Let it cool.
  5. 5. In another bowl, whisk together orange juice, sugar, eggs, orange zest, and heavy cream.
  6. 6. Pour filling into the cooled crust. Bake for 30 minutes or until set.
  7. 7. Let the tart cool before serving.
