Crust
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
Filling
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, ½ cup softened butter, and ¼ cup sugar. Mix until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Bake crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoon flour, and ½ teaspoon baking powder. Add eggs, orange juice, and orange zest. Mix well.
Pour filling over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until the filling is set.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
