Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced into ½ inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 large Onions thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Blue Cheese crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with caramelized onions and crumbled blue cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
