Ingredients

  • 1 unit Pie Crust store-bought or homemade
  • 2 units Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 units Apples thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions and apples. Add melted butter, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. Spread the onion and apple mixture evenly over the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border around the edges.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the filling, pleating as necessary.
  6. Drizzle honey over the top of the filling.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Let the galette cool slightly before serving.
