Ingredients

  • 1 unit Pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 large Onion thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
  • 4 large Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the onion and mushroom mixture evenly over the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
