Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 4 slices bacon
  • to taste Okonomiyaki sauce
  • to taste Kewpie mayonnaise
  • to taste Bonito flakes
  • to taste Aonori (seaweed flakes)

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, water, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  2. 2. Add shredded cabbage to the batter and mix well.
  3. 3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. 4. Pour a portion of the batter into the pan, spreading it out into a pancake shape.
  5. 5. Place bacon slices on top of the pancake.
  6. 6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the bacon is crispy.
  7. 7. Serve hot with Okonomiyaki sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and aonori.
