Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup Raisins

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
  5. Mix in oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
