Main Ingredients
- 8 pieces Chicken thighs
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- ¼ cup Hot sauce
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- enough to submerge chicken Oil for frying
- ½ cup Butter
- 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
- for serving Pickles
- for serving White bread
Marinate chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 1 hour.
Mix flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
Dredge marinated chicken in flour mixture.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix in cayenne, brown sugar, and a bit of frying oil.
Brush hot mixture over fried chicken.
Serve on white bread with pickles.
