Ingredients

  • 12 oz Fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. 5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  7. 7. Serve the mushroom fettuccine hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
