Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread cubes day-old or toasted
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup leeks sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add leeks and mushrooms, cook until tender.
  3. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked leeks and mushrooms, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer mixture to a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until top is golden brown.
