Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Ketchup for topping

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, milk, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into a loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  4. Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
