Ingredients 

Doughnuts

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and matcha powder.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the doughnut pan cavities about ¾ full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.
  7. Let the doughnuts cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
