Maple Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Filling
- 1 can Pumpkin puree (15 oz)
- 1 cup Maple syrup
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Topping
- 1 cup Pecans chopped
- 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the unbaked pie crust in a pie dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
Pour the filling into the pie crust.
Bake for 50 minutes or until the filling is set.
In a small bowl, mix the chopped pecans and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.
Sprinkle the pecan mixture over the pie and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Let the pie cool before serving.
