- 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain.
3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Gradually whisk in milk, and cook until thickened.
5. Add salt, pepper, and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Pour into a baking dish.
7. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
