Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lentils cooked
  • 1 cup Mushrooms chopped
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked lentils, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and press down firmly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the loaf is firm.
  7. Let the loaf cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
