Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine lentils, grated carrots, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
