Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lentils cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  2. 2. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown.
  3. 3. In a food processor, combine cooked lentils, mushroom mixture, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, cumin, and paprika. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  4. 4. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  5. 5. In the same skillet, heat a bit more olive oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
