Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup Chopped fresh dill

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the rice and salt, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
  4. Fluff the rice with a fork, then stir in the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, and dill.
  5. Serve warm.
