1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer.
4. Return chicken to the skillet and cook until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
