Lemon Berry Tart Recipe

Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon ice water

Filling

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Topping

  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Add egg yolk and ice water, mix until dough forms. Press into tart pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Pour into baked crust. Bake for another 15 minutes or until set.
  4. Let tart cool. Top with mixed berries. Serve chilled.
