Lemon Basil Pesto Pasta

Main Ingredients
- 12 oz Pasta any type
- 2 cups Fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- ½ cup Olive oil
- ¼ cup Pine nuts toasted
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 whole Lemon zested and juiced
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Toss the cooked pasta with the lemon basil pesto until evenly coated.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
