Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas cooked and drained
  • 2 large leeks cleaned and sliced
  • ½ cup almonds chopped
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup butter cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Add beaten egg and milk to the mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. In a pan, sauté leeks until soft. Add chickpeas and almonds. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the leek mixture into the pre-baked tart shell. Bake for another 30 minutes.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
