Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoon Dried Lavender
- 2 ½ teaspoon Unflavored Gelatin
- ¼ cup Cold Water
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it stand for about 5 minutes to soften.
2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, honey, and dried lavender. Heat over medium heat until just starting to simmer. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes.
3. Strain the lavender mixture to remove the dried lavender. Return the mixture to the saucepan and reheat gently.
4. Stir in the softened gelatin until completely dissolved.
5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
6. To serve, run a knife around the edge of each panna cotta and unmold onto a plate. Drizzle with additional honey if desired.
