Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 can sardines in oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  4. Add chopped tomato and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add sardines (with oil) and soy sauce. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Mix in the cooked rice. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
