Island Style Sardines and Rice Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 1 can sardines in oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
Add chopped tomato and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add sardines (with oil) and soy sauce. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Mix in the cooked rice. Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
