  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1.25 cup water
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt optional

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the brown rice under cold water.
  2. Add the rinsed rice, water, and salt to the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing position.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 22 minutes.
  5. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
