Main Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 4 cups water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk
Rinse the rice under cold water.
In a blender, combine rice, cinnamon sticks, and 2 cups of water. Blend until the rice and cinnamon sticks are roughly ground.
Transfer the mixture to a large bowl, add the remaining 2 cups of water, and let it soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Discard the solids.
Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
