Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded chicken
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 12 pieces Corn tortillas
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, shredded cheese, cumin, and chili powder.
  2. 2. Warm the corn tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
  3. 3. Place a small amount of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Fry the taquitos in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove the taquitos from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. 7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
