Ingredients 

Dough

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water 110°F
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg beaten, for egg wash

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
