Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Gravy Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized. Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
  4. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
