Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • 4 slices ham
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. 2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese over it.
  3. 3. Layer the ham slices over the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  4. 4. Place the second tortilla on top and cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until golden brown, another 2-3 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting into wedges. Serve warm.
