  • 1 lb Ham diced
  • 2 cups Dried Beans soaked overnight
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, add the diced ham, soaked beans, chopped onion, minced garlic, and water.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours, or until beans are tender.
  3. 3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
