Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ham, diced
  • 1 cup Dried white beans soaked overnight
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots Carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks Celery, sliced
  • 6 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  2. 2. Add the diced ham, carrots, and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the soaked beans, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 90 minutes, or until beans are tender.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
