Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread whole grain or your choice
  • 2 medium Green Tomatoes sliced
  • 4 leaves Lettuce washed
  • 4 slices Cheese your choice
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
  3. 3. Place the bread slices, mayonnaise side down, on the skillet.
  4. 4. Add cheese slices on top of the bread and let it melt slightly.
  5. 5. Add sliced green tomatoes and lettuce on top of the cheese.
  6. 6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. 7. Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side up.
  8. 8. Flip the sandwiches and cook until both sides are golden brown.
  9. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
