Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium Green papaya peeled and shredded
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup Green beans cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Palm sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dried shrimp optional
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted peanuts crushed
  • 1 chili Bird's eye chili optional, finely chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic and chili (if using) until they form a rough paste.
  2. 2. Add the palm sugar and continue to pound until dissolved.
  3. 3. Add the fish sauce and lime juice, and mix well.
  4. 4. Add the shredded green papaya, cherry tomatoes, green beans, and dried shrimp (if using). Lightly pound and mix everything together.
  5. 5. Transfer the salad to a serving plate and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
