Green Beans Almondine Recipe
A simple and delicious side dish featuring green beans and almonds.

- 1 lb green beans trimmed
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 clove garlic minced
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper freshly ground
1. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
4. Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat with the butter and almonds. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve warm.
