  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1.5 cups Buttermilk
  • 0.5 cup Molasses
  • 0.25 cup Melted butter

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the buttermilk, molasses, and melted butter. Mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
