Garlic Penne Pasta

- 12 oz Penne Pasta
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic and oil mixture.
5. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
