Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Scallops fresh or thawed
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 whole Lemon juiced and zested
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and butter to the skillet. Stir until butter is melted and sauce is combined.
Return the scallops to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cook for another minute.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
