Fruit Tart Recipe

Crust
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
Filling
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
Topping
- 2 cups mixed fresh fruit sliced
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and mix until dough forms. Press dough into tart pan.
Bake crust for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
Spread filling into cooled crust. Arrange fresh fruit on top. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
