Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Bananas ripe but firm
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips semi-sweet or dark
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil optional, for smoother chocolate
  • 1 cup Chopped nuts or sprinkles optional, for topping

Instructions 

  1. Peel and cut bananas in half. Insert a fork into each half.
  2. Place bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Dip frozen bananas into melted chocolate, then immediately sprinkle with nuts or sprinkles if using.
  5. Place bananas back on the baking sheet and freeze for another hour or until chocolate is set.
