French Toast Bake

Main Ingredients
- 1 loaf bread, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 0.5 cup butter, melted
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place bread cubes in the baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Pour egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Drizzle over the top.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
