- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 large onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
Once onions are caramelized, let them cool slightly and then mix into the sour cream mixture.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
