Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast about 2 ¼ teaspoons
  • 1 ½ cups Warm water 110°F (45°C)
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Olive oil plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. 2. Add the flour, salt, and ¼ cup of olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased baking sheet. Stretch it out to fit the sheet.
  6. 6. Use your fingers to make dimples all over the surface of the dough. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with chopped rosemary and coarse sea salt.
  7. 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
