Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine uncooked
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. 5. Toss the cooked fettuccine and broccoli with the Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
