Ingredients 

Falafel Mixture

  • 1 cup Chickpeas canned or cooked
  • ½ cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying

Burger Assembly

  • 4 Burger Buns
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Tomato sliced
  • ½ cup Cucumber sliced
  • ¼ cup Tahini Sauce

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, baking powder, and flour. Pulse until mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. 4. Assemble the burgers by placing a falafel patty on each bun, then top with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tahini sauce.
