Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Heat the milk in a saucepan until it's just about to boil, then slowly pour it into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and place it in a larger pan filled with hot water.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the custard is set.
  6. Let it cool before serving.
