Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in the marinara sauce, dried basil, and dried oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked ziti pasta, ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer half of the pasta mixture on top of the sauce. Add another layer of meat sauce, followed by the remaining pasta mixture. Top with the remaining meat sauce.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
