Ingredients 

Soup Base

  • 6 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped Celery
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions

Dumplings

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the chopped carrots, celery, and onions. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. 4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined.
  5. 5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the simmering soup.
  6. 6. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
