Creamy Leek And Almond Pasta

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 300 g Pasta any type
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 large Leeks sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ cup Sliced Almonds toasted
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add sliced leeks and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with toasted almonds.
